Programme of event for 8th March 2008

   

The Main Hall will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will contain:-

STALLS. Fair Trade, Welfare Rights and Advice, Guild of Spinners and Weavers, Breathe Easy, Friends of Harlow Museum, Home Start, Talking Newspaper, Environmental Health, Women’s Aid, Young People’s Information Centre, Harlow Women’s Network, Refugee Support Group, Harlow Muslim Women’s Group, Craft Stalls, Roundabout Harlow. 

Home Start and Women’s Aid will have activities for children.

DEMONSTRATIONS from Harlow College. Floristry, catering, plumbing, electrical work, bricklaying, and car maintenance in the Car Park (weather permitting). A chance to try your hand.

STARTING UP A BUSINESS  –  one to one advice.

MUSIC in the Canteen area from 12 to 3 p.m. Faze 4 band, CALM choir, saxophonist. 12 to 3 p.m..

ALTERNATIVE THERAPIES in the room previously used by Rainbow nursery, starting as soon as possible after 11 a.m. Massage, reflexology, manicure, henna.

KARATE class and YOGA in the green room 12 to 3 p.m.

FREE SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE to run from the bus station into the Latton Bush Centre. It will run from the area next to the Information Kiosk.

ART EXHIBITION at the College from 1st to 7th March and at Latton Bush on 8th March.  Judging 10 to 11 a.m. -  judges Paul Jarvis and Jenny Lushington.   Opening ceremony 11 a.m. in College reception to be carried out by Judy Travers. Press to be invited.
